Harmony is a native Angeleno who did her first commercial— for Johnson’s Baby Powder— when she was just six months old. She spent most of her childhood in Hawaii but, back in L.A. during a summer break, was signed by Elite Model Management at the age of 15. She then travelled around the world working as a fashion model.
Modeling morphed into acting. Remember the infamous Clairol Herbal Essences “orgasm in the shower” commercial campaign? That brunette was Harmony. She trained with Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum at Playhouse West acting school and repertory theater in North Hollywood and performed in many top network TV shows, films and plays over the years. One of her favorite roles was that of Rita, the sexy, double-crossing bank manager in Mike Nichols’ film What Planet Are You From? starring Garry Shandling, Greg Kinnear, and Annette Bening.
Harmony took a hiatus from acting to have children and directed her boundless enthusiasm into family life. When she returned to her passion for performing, she re-joined Playhouse West, and went on to star in five critically acclaimed plays.
In 2016 Harmony founded the female filmmakers group Chicks Making Flicks. To date she has written and directed eight films, and produced and starred in a comedic web-series, "Half Way", which garnered much adoration on YouTube and Funny or Die. She has won three awards: the Indie Spirit and Excellence in Filmmaking awards for her films The Escape and Island of the Dolls, and in 2022, the Vanguard award for Supporting Actress in the film Heretic, at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema. (Heretic is now streaming on all major platforms.)
Harmony recently made the commitment to further her education by acquiring a bachelor's degree in film and television. She was accepted into the prestigious Cinema and Television Arts program at CSUN, and is enjoying her time as a student, in addition to continuing with her acting career.
